About Dalton's Law
Dalton's Law states that in a mixture of non-reacting gases, the total pressure exerted is equal to the sum of the partial pressures of the individual gases. Use the calculators below to find any one of three values when you know the other two.
Find Partial Pressure
PP = (Absolute Pressure × Percentage) ÷ 100
Enter values above
Find Gas Percentage
% = (Partial Pressure × 100) ÷ Absolute Pressure
Enter values above
Find Absolute Pressure
Abs. Pressure = (Partial Pressure × 100) ÷ Percentage
Enter values above
Depth & Pressure Conversions
Depth in feet or meters must be converted to absolute pressure
Bar → Meters
Depth(m) = (Bar × 10) − 10
Enter bar value
ATM → Feet
Depth(ft) = (ATM × 33) − 33
Enter ATM value
Meters → Bar
Bar = (Depth + 10) ÷ 10
Enter meters value
Feet → ATM
ATM = (Depth + 33) ÷ 33
Enter feet value
