New 2026 Requirement — Annual Employment Log Sheets
You must now submit verified employment log sheets every 12 months throughout your certification period. Without these, your certificate becomes invalid and you will not be able to renew or recertify at the 5 or 10 year stages. Start keeping these records now — don't wait until renewal time.
Applies to all CSWIP NDT and PCN certificates from 1 January 2026.
⚠ 10-Year Recertification — Check Requirements First
❌ Structured Credit Not Available
PCN Level 1 and Level 2 Issue 02 certificates must be revalidated by sitting the practical recertification examination conducted by a BINDT Authorised Qualifying Body (AQB). The structured credit route is not available for Issue 02 certificates at Level 1 or Level 2.
⚠ Important: This tool is for guidance only and covers CSWIP NDT (ISO 9712) and PCN certificates only. Always verify requirements directly with TWI Certification Ltd (CSWIP) or BINDT (PCN) before submitting.
CSWIP: One submission of the Structured Credit form is allowed. If your structured credit application is unsuccessful, you will have two attempts at the renewal examination. Incomplete applications incur additional charges.
PCN: BINDT conducts a high percentage of verification on submitted evidence. Missing evidence may be requested within a 12-week window before the application is closed.
Underwater Inspection certs (CSWIP 3.1U, 3.2U, 3.3U, 3.4U, ROV): These are governed by a separate CSWIP Underwater Inspection scheme document and are not covered by this tool.
